My husband has a major sweet tooth. I am more of a potato anything kind of girl, but sometimes you just need something sweet. What is a girl on a healthy lifestyle to do? I remember I use to be able to eat entire pints of ben and jerry’s ice cream. Actually I am pretty sure those pints were followed by pepperoni pizzas, doritos, and soda as well. I swore off eating the pints when i figured out that I was consuming over 60 grams of fat PER pint. CRAZY. Here is something I like to make in my vitamix. Creamy, Healthy, And certainly not 60 grams of fat.
1 small frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
splash of almond milk or coconut milk
Add to a food processor or blender. Blend until super smooth. You could add a bit of almond butter or peanut butter on top for a special treat. My husband would eat this by the truckload!
