I saw the Hungry girl’s 2012 supermarket list today in my newsfeed. I reluctantly clicked. I knew what would be coming. I was a little upset to say the least. She has some good suggestions, but most of it is processed, fat free crap. I believe in natural WHOLE foods. We all can have our opinion obviously, but when you have such a large audience ( as the hungry girl does) it is sad to see people getting led down the chemical, fast grab, not truly healthy crap road.
Here is my response to the Hungry Girl’s ultimate shopping list. You can find her list here http://www.hungry-girl.com/biteout/show/2395
Mine contains nothing overly processed. For the most part you will stay on the OUTER edge of the store, unlike the hungry girl’s list 😉

Please weigh in with thoughts. What do you think? Did the hungry girl do a good job? What list would you rather shop with?
Now this is a shopping list! The amount of processed foods in Hungry girl’s food list is crazy! She writes in all these low calories snack food read the ingredients people! Soda really? Nothing good can come from drinking this crap. Whole natural foods in the way to go! I will be printing and using your list and I’m grateful to find such a helpful list of healthy choices! Thank you!
Definitely gotta shop with the Grace Got Healthy Super Supreme list–sorry, Hungry Girl…
