What you need- 2 large cans of whole peeled tomatoes. Or crushed. If you have whole, you have to process them.
1 package of Jennie-0 Ground turkey.
1 can of black beans. Not pictured- 2 bell peppers. I used 1 green, 1 red and 1/2 cup of onion. Tons of chili powder, garlic powder, cinnamon, salt, cumin, cayenne pepper.
Throw the peppers and onion into a food processor. Blend until fine.
In a large pan, heat extra virgin olive oil in a pan. Saute the peppers and onions until soft. This is when I added all the seasonings. Use whatever you like!
In the meantime, process the tomatoes. Add to crockpot. Add turkey, sauted veggies, beans, and ground turkey. Cook on low for 5-6 hours. Season as you go.
Serve with cheese and sour cream if you like. I got 12 sevings. Per serving 10 carbs.
