Cheeseburger quesadilla. Low carb!


2 mission carb balance tortillas
1 hamburger
1 oz of mozzarella
Ranch to dip

Simple and yummy. Feels like I’m cheating. 15 carbs.

  1. This is actually 5 grams away from my carb allowance for the entire day, and I try to get all of my carb intake from low glycemic fruits and veggies. Is this sustainable for you, or is it technically still sort of a cheat (even if you are under your carb count for the day. I am just curious because if all of my meals like this, my macros would be completely off for ketosis.

    1. I get 30 carbs a day. I stay away from fruits. I normally wouldn’t do two tortillas, but I was running low on carbs. My body works really well at the 30 mark. I am down 26 lbs since aug 1.

      1. Ah. I eat really low glycemic fruits so really only raspberries and blackberries. I also like apple peels (LOTS of fiber and low sugar, though the white fruit part is essentially just sugar water) but I feel bad with the waste so I avoid it except for a treat. 🙂 It makes more sense when you are already low carb for the day also. Haha
