Hi friends. Sorry I haven’t blogged more. I swear i post every single day on my Instagram! Gracekeyxo if you wanna follow!

I have been really enjoying myself. My weight is at 165 lbs and I have only been weighing 2x a month. I am down 170 pounds! My goal weight is still 140. I have work to do but I am so much happier in so many areas of my life!

Exercise is so important to me. I make sure to do something every single day! I also quit drinking. Not permanently or anything, I just realize it was doing more harm than good when it came to weight loss.

I hope everyone is well. I promise some more in depth chats soon. I also want to share a few recipes.

Happy Wednesday babies! I know the site isn’t perfect but trust me I’m going insane trying to make it right. I at least have a search bar on the right hand side that Drops down into a ton of articles like recipes etc. On top of that I have all my latest articles on the front page to give you guys something to read while I make new content 🙂

I didn’t think about having to go through and reorganize my categories and all that so it’s just taking longer. Thank you for your patience and likes and comments. They mean the actual world to me.

So here we are the end of May. I have to say my weight loss so far for this month has been lackluster but I feel amazing. My muscle percentage and body fat has gone down. So far I think I have lost like 4 lbs for the month. I think that is nice slow albeit annoying steady progress. I’m not mad! I currently as of today 34.2 lbs away from my goal weight of 140 lbs. current weight so far 173.2 but I honestly don’t care for the scale that much.

I much more enjoy living my life moment by moment. Making good choices cause other good choices to follow. Suddenly it’s a large ball that keeps rolling and growing. When I do have a snack or something “bad” like a piece of pie (I made sweet Georgia peach pie with puff pastry 🥮 the other day) it’s very tiny and I enjoy it and I don’t think about it. I used to beat myself up over small things like that. Since now I have drilled into my mind portion control, that tiny piece of pie isn’t a big deal and isn’t going to ruin my life!! Feels good to finally feel free after years of yo yo dieting. After 18 plus months I have drilled these things into my brain-

Consistency! Show the hell up everyday. If you have chronic pain like I do it’s gonna be tough you may not be able to exercise at first or ever. But if you are serious about losing weight you will restrict your intake. I did that for about 16 months before I could workout. Keep showing up. Keep doing the workouts. Keep to your schedule. Keep drinking the water. Whatever habits work best for you, practice them. I promise you will need them later in your journey!!

Accountability! This has been huge for me. I have shared so much of my journey with you all. The ups the downs. The terrible tummy pictures. So ashamed of who I had become. But I shared. And I shared. And I still share because it’s important to know that you’re worth it and can take control of this too. It’s so much more than weight.

My last tip is portion control. I have learned you can literally eat pretty much anything you like as long as it for me personally measured weighed and fits in my macros. I do follow low carb, but I don’t put anything off limits in small quantities. This has helped tremendously.

So CAP.

Consistency. Keep doing the good stuff. Accountability. Share your journey with your friends or spouse or the world. Hold yourself to a high standard. Don’t let others down. People are watching you. If this feels like too much pressure, just tell the person what you need from them in case you fall of track! Lastly portion control. Weigh. Measure. Count but don’t obsess.

These three things have helped my journey immensely. I am so excited for June. Looking forward to completing my 100 miles in May challenge. We have still not ordered take out or eaten our since last August (except vacation). Ps that’s another huge tip I’ll do a blog on. Giving up the fast food and restaurants for good! For June I will probably focus on swimming, yoga, rowing, and of course running on my freestrider. Oh also stair-stepping. I really want to not have a flat ass haha 🥰

Not the most flattering angle…


So okay. Yeah. I didn’t want to post this but I wanted to share that even problem areas get better. I have always had a problem with my lower belly but through fitness and exercise it is certainly shrinking. Picture on left is from March 23. Picture on right is from May 18. I for sure notice a different in size. I know this is awkward but I just wanted to share. Don’t ever give up on yourself!

I have been working out every single day to try to complete my one mile a day for May. That as I have mentioned has turned into 100. I’m almost at 60 miles, I hope I can do it. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

With everything going on in the world I just have been trying to stay calm and collected.

Now that’s a ^throwback Thursday!! Highest weight 335! Pre gallbladder surgery. Did I mention I had to have emergency gallbladder surgery because it was functioning at 6 percent? Yeah that happened!

How I got rid of my dry winter hands!


Did anyone else experience dry, cracked, irritated, bright red angry hands during this crazy winter? Or worse– Are you still experiencing horribly chapped hands from angry winter winds and dry temps? If so, I FEEL FOR YOU.

Living in Florida I know you all are totally rolling your eyes at me but I swear to you. I was experiencing some serious winter blues over here. Dry irritated skin that came out of no where. I tried tons of products but only found one that helped!

In two days my skin had cleared up completely. I use it once every single day and that has helped keep my hands feeling just right. It’s getting hot in here. 


Sorry for the cheesy title of this blog, but seriously. It really got hot in here. My mouth in particular! Today is National Hot Sauce day!

Tabenero sent over this awesome pack of sauce to get my hot sauce on. They are 100% natural, gf, and just plain good! I have been using it on everything. The agave sweet n spicy is PERFECT and only has 1 carb a serving. The extra hot is well… HOT. My mouth was very happy and sad at the same time! The burn feels so good. Picante is lovely over eggs and my husband loves it on his burritos.

  I have been drizzling this sweet and spicy on everything. Just a dab will do ya!

Low Carb Lox!


Who doesn’t love a thick New York style bagel smothered in cream cheese, topped with velvety ribbons of perfectly smoked salmon? Add a mimosa and this girl right here is in heaven. I love a good old fashioned lox bagel!

Unfortunately for me, if I look at a bagel I will gain 10 lbs. I am not even kidding. So I had to come up with a simple way to get my lox craving in without killing my 30 carbs a day “diet”. This is so simple it hurts. Yet so GOOD!!

The best thing about recreating this meal was that 2/3 items are basically carb free. Cream cheese can have 1-2 carbs in it which is totally fine. If you want to use cream cheese, use cream cheese. There are no rules here! 🙂 But I took it a step further. I used the following.

Trader Joe’s Pastrami Style Smoked Salmonss1

 

and 1.5 tbsp of Mascarpone cheese. Mascarpone is nice because it has 0 carbs, it’s light and just went really well.

I literally just smeared the cheese on the wrap, added 2 slices of smoked salmon and bam. Done.

Total Net Carbs= 6.

This breakfast will be for sure on repeat. If you are low carbing it, DO THIS NOW!!

Pumpkin cheesecake ice cream!


What I use for 2 servings of PCI- Sweetener about 1 tbsp, 3 tbsp of full fat cream cheese, 1/2 cup of pumpkin, 1/4 cup of heavy cream, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, pumpkin spice. 1 cup of ice.

Measure out ingredients. 1/2 cup pumpkin, 1-2 tbsp's sweetener of choice, 3 tbsp of cream cheese, 1/4 cup of heavy cream. Add to blender. Add 1 cup or so of ice. Add spices. I just do a few shakes of each. Blend in blender. Mixture will be thick because of the whipping cream. Keep adding ice until you get your desired texture.

Cedarlane Omelet Review!


  • I never know what to make for breakfast. About 4 years ago, I went on a smoothie binge and literally drank a smoothie every single day for a year. That kind of died out. I am always looking for other options. http://www.cedarlanefoods.com/ asked me to try out their omelets. They are a 30 plus year natural company with healthy but still super convenient choices. With 20 grams of protein per omelet I knew this would make a good breakfast for when all I had time for was to pop something in the microwave. They sent me four flavors.
  • Spinach and mushroom
  • Garden vegetable with mozzarella.
  • Turkey bacon, vegetable and cheese.
  • Green Chile, cheese, and ranchero sauce.

chiliIMG_7116.JPGThe green chile was my favorite. It was filling, and spicy but not too spicy. I love mexican for breakfast!

IMG_7117.JPGThe spinach and mushroom omelette left me super full! I always love the combination of spinach and mushroom so this was a win.

IMG_7034.JPGThe turkey bacon omelette was good too! My only complaint? Needs more bacon. Everything needs more bacon 😉

IMG_7036.JPGThe veggie omelet was my least favorite of the bunch. It wasn’t bad, but it just wasn’t amazing. A little bland. I added some hot sauce and that helped.

Is it cheaper just to make your own egg white omelet for breakfast? Absolutely. Do you always have the time to chop up your veggies, get your protein together, and cook. Oh and not screw up the flip part of the omelet?! Ha. No you probably don’t. These are great in a cinch. Left me full for 3-4 hours.
